Ich heiße Katrin und bin 25 Jahre alt.
Nach 5 Jahren Stuidum stehe ich kurz vor meinem Abschluss in Bioingenieurwesen an der TU Dortmund.
Also, was gibt es so über mich zu wissen?
Ich habe eine unglaubliche Liebe für die Werke J.R.R. Tolkiens. Auch andere Literartur und Filme des Fanatsy Genres ziehen mich an, seine haben jedoch einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen.
Meine Familie fährt schon seit Ewigkeiten mindestens einmal im Jahr nach Schweden. Was somit irgendwie meine zweite Heimat ist. Das bedeutet leider noch lange nicht, dass ich die Sprache in 25 Jahren gelernt habe (Naturwissenschaftlerinnen...).
Wenn wir schon beim Reisen sind, kommen wir direkt zu meiner Faszination für Japan. Angefangen hat diese in der Grundschule durch Anime: Sailor Moon, Digimon, Inuyasha... Schnell hat sich dieses Interesse jedoch auf Religion/Spiritualität, Kultur, Land, Leute, Essen und alles mögliche andere ausgeweitet. Und nun bin ich auf dem Weg zu meinem dritten Besuch dieses Landes. Mal schauen was die Zeit bringt.
Ich denke diese Stichpunkte, Biologie, Tolkien, Schweden und Japan sind die Sachen, mit denen mich die meisten Leute verbinden. Sollte euch noch was anderes einfallen, meldet euch ;)

My name is Katrin and I am 25 years old.
After surviving 5 years of studying Biochemicalengineering I am close to graduationg as a master student at the TU Dortmund.
So, what are important things to know about me?
I am absolutly in love with the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. Other literature pieces and films of the fantasy genre are also my cup of tea but he has a special place in my heart.
My family travels to Sweden atleast once a year scince forever. So it is kind of my second home. Nevertheless I am not able to speak Swedish (Scientists...).
Talking about traveling we should also come to my fascination for Japan. It startet in elementary school with Anime: Sailor moon, Digimon, Inuyasha... But fast it grew to an interest for religion/spirituality, the culture, the country, the people, food and many other stuff. Now I am on my way to my third visit of this country. We will see what time brings.
I think those bulletpoints (biology, Tolkien, Sweden and Japan) are the things most people think about when they have me on their mind!
